An excuse to post another holiday photograph. This is a seafood restaurant on the Hastings River at Port Macquarie, New South Wales where we had a break for a week in September. Most of my nighttime photos seem to be taken on holiday, perhaps it's because then I take more time to relax, fiddle around with camera settings, and take the time to get one that I like.

What a serene shot.. truly lovely!!
Oh this is beautiful! I am all for the lights in dark evening night-time photos...it makes them radiant! Otherwise they are lonely!
Love this reflection.
Just peaceful!!
Pardon me while I gasp in wonder. There are reflective-water perspectives, and there are reflective-water perspectives. This one absolutely sings...it has a certain peace to it that keeps my eyes riveted to the screen.
I like your reflection (sorry) on taking more night-time pictures while on holiday. I had never thought of it that way, but you're absolutely right. There's definitely a connection between holidays and taking the time to take it all in.
Thank you for planting the seed in me yet again, Catherine!
