Thematic Photographic: Trees
We have some rather odd looking trees in New Zealand. This is a lancewood - Maori name horoeka - taken on the West Coast in January, although we also have one in our garden.

I love this tree. It looks like it shouldn't even be there. Yet it not only survives; it thrives. I love how life takes root in so many forms, and in so many places.
Thank you for this wonderful contribution to the tree theme. We're exploring winter this week....got anything in that magic lens of yours?
strange looking tree but I like it.

ReplyDeleteThat really is a different looking tree.....but I like it!
